The night which is better than 1000 month?
I wanted it so badly..but..I was feeling disappointed too..Before that night, one of my friend was so busy predicting Lailatul Qadr. Saying that it has already passed.
Then my husband asked.
"Why are you looking out through the window at night like this?" The cold breeze started coming in since we live in the jungle up on the hills.
I just smile and said.."Nothing".
Few hours after that, after my kids are all sleeping, I lied down on his laps while he was reading The Great Quran. One of his hand is massaging my head. Well..a hectic day and a time for me to rest since all of my "angels" are on the bed..Dreaming good dreams.
"How many times you have finished reading the whole Quran?" I asked.
"Only two." He said. "I'm focusing on the meaning now." he continued.
I looked at him.
"I can't even finish my three juzu'. Every time when I read The Quran, Wadeaa (my youngest daughter) will come and join me..She will flip the whole Quran, reading only Al-Fatihah (the opening surah). Saying that she has finished reading the whole Quran. And I can never read peacefully.."
He started smiling..looking to my eyes, he said..
"Do you know that when you are waking me up, preparing my Iftar (breakfast) and Suhr (the eating before you fast), you will get whatever ajr (rewards) that I'm doing?
The I asked, "What if..you manage to get all the rewards and you will go to Jannah (heaven) leaving me behind?"
He said.."Never...I will do as much Ajr as I can so that I can carry you with me there. you will always be by my side."
Well..now that he is doing it double, can I rest? Nope..I will try to double it too..Who knows, if his ajr not enough, I can top it up with mine..hahaha...
Whatever it is..
In whatever things you are doing..
Let's try to do it as best as you can.
Let GOD decides the rest!!
